The Chicago Pneumatic CP 0010 and CP 0020 are pneumatic pumps designed to remove
water and debris from excavations, drainage ditches, and sewer manholes. Minimum
operating depth: 22 mm. High performance, centrally located air motor, dual protection of bearings and motor against water and sludge. Built-in lubricator, mesh filter in the air supply system, bronze pump impeller, stainless steel housing.
Chicago Pneumatic submersible pumps are suitable for removing water or relatively similar, clean liquids from ditches, trenches, and sumps, as well as industrial excavations and sewage tanks. The pumps should not be used for flammable liquids.
Submersible pumps are of the centrifugal type, meaning they pump liquid using an air-driven impeller. The pump must be submerged in the liquid during operation. The liquid exits the pump through the discharge port. These pumps are extremely efficient and durable. Both models will pump only up to a depth of 22 mm (7/8”) from the base. They do not require priming and can operate continuously, or even dry, without overheating. They can be fully submerged using a check valve on the discharge pipe or an extended pipe end above the liquid level. They are relatively small in size with very high flow rates, making them suitable for use in confined spaces.
