However, to fully harness its potential, it is necessary to lubricate its mechanisms regularly. This is where an air wrench lubricator comes in—a simple yet extremely important accessory.

Installation instructions for the pneumatic wrench oiler:

• Make sure you have the correct lubricator with 1/4" connections. Lubricators typically have 1/4" male and female threads.
• Attach the oiler directly to the air inlet on the pneumatic wrench. Oilers are installed between the compressed air supply hose and the tool.
• If the wrench has a quick-connect fitting, first unscrew it, screw on the oiler, and then reattach the quick-connect fitting to the oiler.
• Fill the oiler’s reservoir with the appropriate oil for pneumatic tools, paying attention to the oil level indicator.
• Adjust the oil flow using the knob on the oiler. Typically, pneumatic tools require oil mist lubrication at a rate of 3–5 drops per minute. Adjust the setting according to the wrench manufacturer’s recommendations.
• Connect the compressed air hose and test the wrench’s operation. Check if the oiler produces an oil mist, for example by “spraying” it onto a piece of paper—oil marks should be visible.

Remember that regular lubrication with an oiler extends the service life of the pneumatic wrench and prevents it from seizing up. Check the oil level and top it off as needed. Do not use excessive amounts of oil, as this may negatively affect the tool’s performance.

In-line oilers

Less precise oil metering compared to modular oilers.

Modular oilers

Design:
These are more advanced devices that are often part of a larger air preparation system. In addition to the oiler, they may also include pressure filters and pressure regulators.

Operation:
Like inline oilers, they mix oil with air. However, thanks to their more advanced design, they allow for more precise oil dosing and better air filtration.

Advantages:
High precision in oil dosing, adjustable oil volume, better quality of air supplied to the tool.

Disadvantages:
Higher price, more complex design.
